HOSPITAL TYPE DISINFECTANT:
Steriphene II is a hospital type disinfectant
which achieves 100% kill of all claimed
microorganisms (see product label). A blend of
two phenolics, Steriphene II is Tuberculocidal,
Bactericidal, Fungicidal* and Virucidal** and
is effective against Human Immunodefciency
Virus Type 1 (AIDS Virus), HBV (Hepatitis B
Virus), Herpes Simplex Type 2 (causes genital
herpes) and Infuenza A/J305. EPA Reg. No.
5741-22.
EFFECTIVE AGAINST ANTIBIOTIC
RESISTANT BACTERIA***:
Steriphene II has been tested and shown
effective against Methicillin-resistant
Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and
Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecalis
(VRE).
EXCELLENT DEODORIZER:
Steriphene II destroys bacteria the initial source
of odors. It is not a cover up. Deodorizers
which do not have disinfectant properties
merely cover one odor with another...in effect,
desensitizing the sense of smell.

HIGHLY ACTIVE:
Steriphene II s active ingredient content
is 64.122%...as much as 1/3 more active
ingredients than many competitive products.
FORMERLY AUTHORIZED BY THE USDA:
Category C1 compound for use on all surfaces
in inedible product areas, non-processing areas,
and/or exterior areas.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in
a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Clean all
surfaces prior to disinfection.
Disinfection and Deodorization: Shake well.
Hold can 6 to 8 in. from surface and apply in
a uniform moist flm. Treated surfaces should
remain wet for 10 min. Allow to air dry or wipe off.
Tuberculocidal Activity: Steriphene II Brand
Disinfectant is tuberculocidal under the above
conditions in 10 min. at 68 F (20 C).
*Kills HBV and HIV on pre-cleaned
environmental surfaces/ objects previously
soiled with blood/body fuids in health care
settings or other settings in which there is an
expected likelihood of soiling of inanimate
surfaces/objects with blood or body fuids, and
in which the surfaces/objects likely to be soiled
with blood or body fuids can be associated with
the potential for transmission of Hepatitis B virus
(HBV) and human immunodefciency virus Type 1
(HIV-1) (associated with AIDS).
Special instructions for cleaning and
decontamination against HBV and HIV-1 on
surfaces or objects soiled with blood/body
fuids:
1. Personal Protection: Clean up should be
done wearing protective latex gloves, gowns,
masks and eye protection.
2. Cleaning Procedure: Blood or body fuids
must be thoroughly cleaned from surfaces
and objects before application of disinfectant.

3. Contact Time: Leave surfaces wet for 10
minutes.
4. Disposal of Infectious Material:
Contaminated cleaning materials, blood and
other body fuids should be autoclaved and/
or disposed of according to local regulations
for infections waste disposal.
NOTE: Make sure valve opening is pointed in
the direction of intended spray. Do not use on
varnished wood or rayon fabrics. Steriphene II
Brand Disinfectant Deodorant deodorizes at the
source by killing the germs that cause malodors.
This product is not intended for use as a general
space spray air freshener.
